Roger K. Thomas, Chief Wealth Officer, has more than twenty years of banking experience, with the majority of that time in wealth management, serving as a fiduciary. Roger holds an AIF certification (Accredited Investment Fiduciary certification from fi360/Cannon Financial Institute). His background includes investment management, personal tax, tax planning and estate planning as well as administration of employee benefit accounts (specifically 401k plans). He has served as a Relationship Manager and Employee Benefits Officer.
Roger's educational background includes a degree in Trust and Investment Management with a minor in Financial Planning and a Master in Business Administration degree from Campbell University. He holds a North Carolina Life and Health Insurance License.
Jim L. Watts has over thirty years of fiduciary experience. He has served as Senior Investment Strategist and Relationship Officer. His experience includes an extensive background in investment management, personal trust, tax planning and estate settlement.
After graduating from Campbell University with a Trust and Investment Management degree with a minor in Financial Planning, he received a Graduate Trust Degree from Northwestern University. Jim holds a CTFA certification (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) as well as a CISP certification (Certified IRA Services Professional) and served as former Chairman for the ABA IRA Steering Committee, Washington, D.C.
Heidi K. Watkins, Trust Operations Manager, has worked in the banking industry since 2006. Her experience includes operations, finance, and trust administration. Heidi is a graduate of Southeastern Trust School, Campbell University. She oversees the trust administrative duties for KS Trust.
