"My career with KS Bank has allowed for me to grow in
many ways, both personally and professionally. Starting
out as a Roving Relationship Banker, I am so grateful for
the opportunity I've been given to progress into the role I
have today. To work for a company that has been in
business since 1924 is special and allows for each of us to
be a part of something great."

"I have really enjoyed working at KS Bank all these years because we are a true community bank. I grew up in the Four Oaks community and a lot of our customers are people I have known for years, and I love being able to help them. I like getting to know more about our customers and what's going on in their lives. I also like that even though KS Bank is a smaller bank, we are still big enough to take care of all of our customer's needs. I have always felt right at home here in the Four Oaks branch and have always had wonderful coworkers the entire time I've been here. I have thoroughly enjoyed working at KS Bank and look forward to many more years!"

"2024 will be my 16th anniversary working for KS Bank. During that time I have never felt like I had 'just a job.' When I think about my time with KS Bank, I go all the way back to the beginning, sitting in the Smithfield branch lobby waiting to go in for my interview. As I was waiting, a couple of employees came by to say hello and ask if I needed anything. I began watching and listening, seeing how they interacted with each other and the customers. They tried to make each customer feel like the most important person they would come in contact with that day. Hearing the employees engaging with the customers and making sure they were taken care of was a big deal for me. During my interview I was asked, 'Why KS Bank?' I shared some things I knew about the bank, and my experience in the lobby. I told my interviewers how refreshing and exciting that was, and that I wanted to be a part of it. I look back at all I have learned and experienced during my last 16 years with the bank in various roles and one thing has never changed - taking care of the customer, making sure we help them have the best banking experience possible, is still top priority. Taking care of our customers, creating win-win situations, and doing that right thing is what community banking is all about. And it is what I love about working at KS Bank."
Melissa Kramer - Retail Trainer & Business Development Officer, AVP
"I've been honored to call KS Bank my home for 10 years. Throughout my 10 years, I've had the pleasure of not only building lasting relationships with my fellow coworkers, but also with our dedicated customers. KS Bank prides themselves on focusing on community involvement, which I've been able to see first-hand over the years. By living and working in a small community, I've been able to see the positive impact that KS Bank has on the communities they serve. Over the 10 years, I've experienced working directly with our customers at a branch, and currently
training new employees that have joined the KS Retail team. It's a pleasure working with a company that truly appreciates their employees, where you feel more like family than coworkers."

"One of the many things I like about working at KS Bank is the family atmosphere. When I came to work for the bank 17 years ago, I felt like I had come home. From the beginning, the executive team has always shown me that family comes first. The bank has provided many opportunities and challenges for me to grow in my career and truly believes in learning for life."

"Coming to work for KS Bank is one of the best decisions I could have made. At KS Bank we are not only co-workers, we are a family. We believe in making a difference at work and in the communities we serve, and that is exactly what we do. We are often encouraged to volunteer within our communities, which is a great example of a real community bank. If you want to feel at home away from home, KS Bank is the place to be."
